Connect in the Middle

"Connect in the Middle"-Join other adults as we deepen our faith and connection with each other, our community and our church. Connect in the Middle is a group for people in "the middle" ....juggling the demands/joys of children, aging parents, careers, and a real connection with Christ. Most of the group are in their late 30s, then 40s and 50s, though it's not limited by age. There are a number of ways you may participate with this new adult fellowship and study group.  Choose one or all of them. Here’s our calendar for the next few months:

Social…..  Our Pre-SuperBowl Party February 4th was a great time.  We enjoyed playing some "football" games, fellowship and raised over $2000. for mission work at two orphanages in Lesotho, Africa.  Thanks to Mike and Carol Evans for hosting us in their beautiful home!  What's up next?  A day at the races.............Keeneland, KY on Saturday, April 21st.

Serve- Thanks to everyone who helped provide lunch and fun game activities for about 30 children at the Wesley Chapel Mission Center in Over the Rhine Saturday Jan. 28th.  Mary Anne Newman did a great job coordinating this project!

Study…..Join in one of our small groups held on Sunday mornings or Saturday late afternoons.  Our next topic will be a study on the book of Matthew .  What can Jesus teach us about relationships, priorities, wealth and his coming kingdom? Well, let’s study Matthew’s Gospel and find out!.

Join us for 6-8 weeks as we read and study the Gospel of Matthew, a Life Guide Bible Study. No prior experience necessary! Study guides and general information will be distributed at our first class. As before, we will have 2 class options:

Sunday mornings  beginning Feb. 26th @ 9:30 in Room 303(Grace)-led by Laura and Dave Warren

Saturday’s  beginning Feb. 25th @ 5 p.m. led by Dave Colaw- first meeting is in the Welcome Center (with the plan to organize into small groups to meet either at Church or homes thereafter)

Won't you to join us?   Drop by and check it out.
