Steve Milloy, director of “The Park’s” Praise Team, believes that Spirit can be expressed in an array of venues and through a multitude of musical styles. He says: “It doesn’t matter how you’re in God’s presence…just that you are.”

Steve’s vocalists and instrumentalists are “entrusted” to guide congregants through Spirit-led worship. “Sometimes God says, ‘Okay, I’m giving you this job to do.’ And our response is ‘May Your will be done.’

“The Park” Services

Jesus’ disciples were persons of varying personalities and abilities. And while their theme of Christianity was consistent, the disciples’ message deliveries differed.

“The Park,” a service choice offered by HPCUMC, was established in recognition that God’s Word is spoken and sung in a variety of voices and interpreted by a diverse faith community. Worship at “The Park” is a multi-sensory experience; sermons are thematically-based and supported by big-screen audiovisuals. Music performed here is celebratory and revitalizing, moving some congregants to literally dance with their Creator.
