Reading
Program
Education is a core UMW value. Year-round, HPCUMC's
unit joins women from across the country by reading books
that further our vision. Titles cover contemporary topics:
spiritual growth, mission, community nurturing and social
action.
Special
emphasis is given to summer reading. One book is assigned
per month, and readers are invited to participate in a discussion
group.
"As
Christians, we long to alleviate the suffering of others…The
Nast Trinity dinners offer us the opportunity to directly
address one limited problem…right now."

to urban ministry and mission, helping meet the critical
physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the community.
We have been blessed with gifts and are called to the service
of providing food for the body and soul of these neighbors
in Over-the-Rhine.
UMW's
opportunity to serve dinner is Sunday, February 24, and
